The attorneys and employees of SPK are actively involved in a wide range of community activities that benefit the needy, the handicapped, the environment and the people of Western Pennsylvania. Organizations benefited include the United Way, the Red Cross, Habitat for Humanity, the Muscular Dystrophy Assn, the Allegheny land Trust, the Pittsburgh Trails Advocacy Group, the community public radio station WYEP, the Animal Rescue League, Penn Environment, James Connection, and the Alan and Diane Perer Fund (through the Pittsburgh Foundation) benefiting underprivileged students in the Pittsburgh area.
